The second state that I explored on my roadtrip through the Pacific Northwest in 2023. Though we only explored a small portion of it, I can confidently say that Washington is one of the most beautiful states in the US. During our trip, we backpacked in Olympic National Park and North Cascades National Park, and stopped in Mt. Rainier National Park to do some day hiking. As you can see in the photos, we spent a lot of time above the clouds in each of these locations. We also spent a couple of nights in Seattle and Spokane.
